We have a new metal mouth in our house! And I'm happy to say it's not me! Here's Justin before. He's giving me his best "CHEESE" smile... (I thought he outgrew this when he was 5, but I guess not...)
Here he is during the procedure. Now he's a big scaredy cat! I did get some up close and personal pictures, but I know that some people are grossed out by that so I chose one that wasn't so close.
Here he is after the braces were put on, and before the pain set in. I warned him, but he didn't believe me. I love it when that happens. I hope that it makes him think, "Gee, maybe my mom does know something. Maybe she is smart." Is that wishful thinking? Even if it is wishful thinking, is it wrong of me to still hope that he thinks that? Now, if I can only convince him that he would look better with shorter hair. Oh, it's killing me...
