Natalie came home from school feeling yucky on Monday. She laid around all day, either sleeping or almost falling asleep and eventually developed a fever. She's got hugely swollen glands in her neck and a fever that's hovering between 101 and 102. She is flushed in her face, and I feel so bad for her. I'm not taking her to the doctor, though. The last 3 times I've taken her with these exact symptoms they've tested her for strep throat, and it's negative. It's always a virus that needs to run its course. I hope that she feels a lot better tomorrow. She's missed the last 2 days of school. She just wants to make it back for Friday's water day. Hopefully she will. She'll be so sad if she misses it!
On a happy note Trevor managed to go to school today, but the shirt really hurt him. He's still beet red and sore. I seriously doubt he'll decide to go without sunscreen again! Some lessons are easier learned by watching others than by going through them yourself. This is definitely one of those for me!
